Tippmann 98 Custom Platinum Series Ultra Basic Paintball Marker – Black

I own the Tippmann 98 Custom paintball marker and it’s a great entry level marker. It is very reliable and it shoots stright and far and best of all it is totally upgradeable. You can purchase different barrels, stocks, sights, grips etc. It is a semi-automatic gune but you can upgrade it to be fully automatic. I have used this marker for years and would highly recommend it.

Great marker for the price. My son has the Tippmann A5; it’s a really nice marker. But I only play every once and a while. So I didn’t want to spend the money for An A5. This platinum-custom 98 was just the ticket. Fast, reliable just awesome. I added the cyclone feed to it and it’s just as fast as the A5. I really like my custom 98 and small kids fear me.

Won’t fine a better woods-ball marker at a better price but if it we’re me I’d go with the A.C.T.(Anti-Chop Tech) version or even the A-5. This is going to be my backup marker after some heavy Mods.

this is a okay STARTER gun, very customizsble but its a $70-85 marker, it curves a little, ball break all the time, if i was u id get a spyder or proto

This is the third tippmann 98 that I have purchased over the years where the barrel does not fit straight into the reciever. They need to put a barrel nut into the design like the A-5 has for the barrel to properly seat into the reciever. Most tippmann 98′s shoot to left because of this. Save some extra money and buy an A-5 you will be glad you did.
